Starting with an overview of EcoDesign principles, the presentation explained market drivers for employing EcoDesign to comply with environmental legislation and reduce costs. The presentation provided practical advice on how to implement EcoDesign in a company and included case studies on how cost and environmental benefits can be achieved by incorporating EcoDesign principles into the design process for aerospace, medical and chemical detection products.
