The presentation highlighted the business case for EcoDesign within the medical electronics sector. The key drivers in this sector were summarised—with regulation, procurement and competition-driven innovation suggested to be the most critical. The presentation went on to discuss how the medical industry is responding to these drivers and how EcoDesign will support this effort.
